I think this is the end of his motorcycle racing career. Imagine something like this happened if he replaced Pedrosa.

Good decision from Honda to keep him away; they raised good points, especially with Schumacher's return to F1 with Mercedes, where he wasn't competitive. Albeit if he was still racing for them in 2014, he would probably be world champion again.
