Does anyone in town do same day safety?

I've got a bike I'd like to get on the road this weekend and thought I'd ask. The bike is not yet plated so I would need someone to come by. Any ideas?

I don't know anyone who does housecalls but any Canadian Tire can do safeties same day if you can get it to one.

Most dealerships can do a safety same day, drop off the bike in the morning and they can have it done by end of day. Many services available to get the bike there. Uhaul trailer, Toyhauler (infernobuster on this forum), etc etc.

Any certified shop can do same day safety inspection. It's a very quick check... Especially at CT where they usually don't know what they're doing anyway. You can obtain temporary paperwork from the MTO so you can ride your bike to the shop.

Not every CT does motorcycle checks. Call ahead and ask first.

Always call CT ahead and ask. If you dont want to uhaul the bike over, head to your closest MTO and get your temp licence, ride to safety, get safety cert, ride back to MTO and get your actual sticker.

Ted may do housecalls off or shoulder season, not sure about high summer. Call and find out, he may if it's close by.
