I heard they might have passed away (was in a FB post). If so, RIP rider, although high speed lane splitting is never a good idea.
 
In the report it says the rider was passing between vehicles. In any event, the driver of the Nissan took off. Possibly not licensed or warrants? Hope the rider will be OK.
