thanks - that's what it is but astronomical price point !!! Think I'll look for a sealed bag that is cheaper as I already have a backrest.

Look at the bags on Motostorm.it I think there's a Kappa roll top dry bag for bikes that pretty reasonably priced.
 
Lebaron also sells dry backpacks and dry duffel bags for pretty cheap. I use a 75l bag to hold my tent, pad, sleeping bag, and pillow and it also works great as a back rest.

I've got the North49 75l bag for $36.45: http://www.lebaron.ca/pdf_files_sp13/wf_barrels.pdf but they have other options.
