Car vs Bike Braking - This one always gets me...

And yet, rider training courses still teach that bikes stop quicker...
 
Wait. The anti-ABS crowd gotten involved yet.
 
The cager has to step on the brake pedal before they can stop though. They are too busy on the phone or whatever.

The last few four-wheeled contraptions that I've owned (all of european design origin, but various manufacturers) have all had brakes that I don't think I could match with a non-ABS bike.

My 2 tonne Ram a.k.a. Fiat van has 4 wheel Brembo disk brakes with ABS. It will stop remarkably hard.

I have a feeling that the newer european stuff is designed like that because they know it has to survive the autobahn. My Jetta had brake cooling ducts molded into the plastic undertray up front.
 
Had a feeling the car would win in the braking department but what can you expect? You can't get on the breaks that hard on the bike or the bike will stop and you'll keep going, lol.
