Going for a week to a friends cottage in the area. Worth bringing the bike for some trails?

Not unless you know someone with private land worth riding on - that area is prime farming land so the snowmobile trails aren't accessible during the summer (trails all pass over crops). Even the ATV clubs with lots of money and interest couldn't keep a club going in Huron County

Moto 86 in Wingham? It has kids/adult MX tracks with some single track. I've never been, but there's a few of those kind of places around there. That's it as far as I know.

If you're riding a blue plated bike and are hurting for places, you could always try the old maitland ATV trail that runs along the Maitland River. Last time I was there on my bike was about 6 years ago, and although the trail is "technically" closed, as long as you aren't riding like an idiot or have super loud pipes I'm sure you'd be fine:
