Are they always recording? At any point is the camera shut off during the officer's shift like when they go for lunch/coffee? can they turn it off or delete the contents?

The cameras in the back seat have an on/off button. I seen an officer placing someone in the back and they hit the button then advised the suspect they were now being audio/video recorded..

Always recording. However, every 30 seconds (pretty sure 30) it records over itself, unless something triggers it to record. Lights, Sirens, G-Force meter, manual activation, etc.. Once triggered, the playback of the recording will start 30 seconds prior to the trigger point...

Officers can review the recordings, but can do nothing to them. They are uploaded back at the station..
