Best track to go to

Favourite tracks in Canada
Calabogie +++ (long technical track with a perfect surface)
Mosport Big Track (really fast track with some rough surface areas on track)
Mosort RDT (really tough technical track smooth surface)
Shannonville (fun track to scream around on)

Favourt Tracks in USA thus far
Barber (very nice but doesn't even come close to Calbogie)
Jennings (just a small fun technical track for the winter months)
Grattan (tough, technical track, not so great surface)
Tally (this Septeber, so I don't know yet)

Hoping to do a few new ones

I'm surprised that you guy's didn't try yet NYST..suppose to be better then Jennings and Grattan. I'm planning to go but not sure when.

You should also try Mid Ohio. About 6 hours from Niagara same as Bogie. Not good in the wet but surface is good and layout is interesting. Mind you I haven't been there for a few years.

Nurburgring...one day in the distant future.

I have just started doing track days after a 25yr break last summer. So far I have done Calibogie long track and the stadium track. Grattan and Barber. I also did two track days at Shanonville about 25 years ago. I would have to say I enjoyed all of them but Shanonville as it was 25yrs ago was not as good as the others. I did Novice at Barber and their novice program was excellent. I did intermediate at Barber and their program was also well run. I loved the whole facility at Barber including the fantastic museum. I was just at Calibogie last week and that was my first time in advanced and it was a great time but dam it was hot! I will happily go back to any of these tracks other than Shanonville. I also run Mosport with my car but I do not think that I will take my bike there.
