This is a weekend where many different presenters will showcase much of what there is to do when embarking on a long trip - either around the world or just far away. Workshop topics usually range from tire changing on the road to dirt skills and from cooking on the cheap to managing GPS and mapping. There will also be many presentations from people who have done long distance travel by bike and their adventures in various countries from Egypt to South America and much more.
I went a few years ago and it was a really good event and this one seems to offer much more than the one I went to. This time it's just off Lake Couchiching north of Orillia - a great launching pad for amazing riding too.
A great experience and well worth the little cash and time it takes to head over for the whole weekend or just a day.
