Wasaga Beach Motorcycle Rally 2015

So I'm a little confused. L&L and KC are full of posers but this even was cool? Isn't it the same thing except it's an hour north? Wasaga lost its appeal years ago. What restaurants/pubs still exist are terrible. Its crowded hot and theres virtually no shade. Add the heat we've had and I don't get events like this. To each their own and all but along with many others I'm not upset I missed this.
Bro you missed scantily clad women

Beach, water, bikinis at Wasaga vs. dudes posing at L&L... let me think for a sec bro, brb.

Bit of a negative review, surreal yes, couldn't believe how well behaved everyone was and the atmosphere was great. All good summer vibes. Only popo we passed were talking bikes. Will post some video. It's still going on all day Sunday if you want to make the drive.

Judging by the vid you were there much later in the day. There were a lot more bikes before 2pm. People just started leaving, I think mainly to go back to their motels and relax with a beer to escape the heat.

I was there Saturday with the family just for the beach. Went for a walk after lunch, was pretty cool to see so many bikes. I haven't seen Wasaga that busy in a while, everyone was enjoying themselves.

Wasaga is back. Busier than the 80's. New hotel just opened weeks ago beside the Dicona. New restaurants opening everywhere. Subway Sub on the main beach, Little Cesar's this past week, a brand new Dairy Queen across from Boston Pizza and Swiss Chalet. Two weeks ago a British restaurant, fish and chips only opened up. See the big union jack beside Little Cesar's. Catch 22 is white linen fine dining at its best. Yammas continues to be the best. You will leave there with a mouth orgasm for less than $30 for two (including beers). The chicken pita wraps will send you to heaven. Two new Super Centres, one with Goodlife Fitness on the upper level. I could go on, but you get the idea. Oh ya, a casino coming next year.

Probably. I was there looking for you, but I didn't see any ghosts :/

.. I went on Sunday and would have to highly recommend it to all! Sports and cruisers.. Lots to see.. A really cool graffiti Harley from alberta was getting lots of attention! There were choppers on display with great back stories! And lots of bike stuff for sale (would've liked more sportsbike orientated stuff).. Was hot but took sandals and shorts and loved the beach.. And area was exclusive to bikes.. No cars! So yes.. It was hot but perfect day.. Near by super twisties.. Terra Nova, pretty river, etc.. Fun day on beach and dedicated to our passion.... Motorcycles!! Going back next year and recommend to all!!!

Should have mentioned, the main beach is open to motorcycles only. Yes, cagers have to loop back and exit while all motorcycles are directed to the main beach for free parking. Kind of nice to be welcomed like this and not have to circle round and round looking for parking in the heat. This event is going to grow huge...as large as the Rave. Next year pack smartly so you can cool off in the water while the bikini bishes admire your bikes. Wear your swim trunks under your gear.

There is a hot rod show every Monday eve. Usually 200 or so hot rods and classic cars are staged across from Walmart (hard to miss). They then do a parade down the main beach as the sun is setting. The sunsets are something to see! And even nicer listening to lumpy cam shafts and guys doing burnouts in front of the popo.

Looks like there was some drama afterall. Altho it was kept and dealt with very quietly. Hells Angels and rival gang Vigos intercepted by police on the way to Wasaga Beach:

It sounds like they're trying to make hay out of nothing. There isn't any active war between the Vagos and the 81s. It seems a little presumptuous to be barring people from events over things pulled out of thin air.
