Replacement for Garmin 2720?

The speedo app was great, but killed my cell battery in 4 hours! Looks like I will be remounting the gps.

4 hours screen on-time is actually decent for a smartphone. Why not hook up a USB cable on the bike?

My bike charges my phone while I ride (in the X-GRIP)

I primarily use the Garmin GPSMAP 62S though, due to the vibration from the KTM (and offroad elements)
 
Yep, used CoPilot all day today for the first time. GPS really sucks that battery dry, have to be able to charge while riding.
 
I ordered a Tender usb adapter. Just haven't picked it up yet. I think I'm still gonna go with the gps, though. I found myself glancing at the phones notifications.
 
Lat year I built a little relay controlled power centre for my home-made powered tank bag and the corbin heated grips. That way everything shuts off when they key turns off. I don't have to remember to turn it off before I walk away (heated grips!)
