Bought 2nd hand cage, emissions test / registering question

Vehicle had emissions test done last year and passed, I have record of the document. Do I have to go through the emissions process again or can I use last years document?

I'm not looking to duck $35, I'm looking to duck an intermittent CEL for evap issues.

Yes you do all new registrations require emissions and if it is more than 365 days old it has to be re-done

Good stuff. I made the mistake of getting an emissions test when I took over my brother's car last year. Waste of money but it was only $35 at least. Saving the tax was nice.

I had to do both cause of the timing.
