Looks like a great day! Were all the bikes on at least sport touring tires? looks like lots of gravel for traction in the water crossings, gravel is good, dirt especially top soil can be tricky with street tires.

Most street focused bike on the ride?

I have michelin pilot powers on a DRZ.

I'm not sure what Iceman has on his Versys, but it looked like street tires as well.

Yeah, you have the best bike for this Dennis but the worst tires. Lol

I have ~ 70/30 type tires on my KLR. Not too bad. Front is worn out though. Heel and toe.

And don't go in there if you have any less than 5" bottom clearance. Or you'll leave some parts behind.

My versys is bone stock, no skid plate, etc. on Shinko full street tires. Some hairy moments on the fast gravel sections, but stay loose and let er rip. Woot!

I can't do anything this weekend but I'll try to plan something for the next one if anyone's interested. Need to get my GPS going first though. Can't always rely on Mike showing up.
