I feel like in the back of my mind I had a mental note to never do safety at CT because of things I've read here but anyway, if you need a safety in the east GTA, the CT at Gibb/Stevenson will do them, even on Saturdays. Was under $60 too. No long wait. I called and asked if they do, they told me as long as the tech is there it is first come first serve. I asked if he was there and he says yes. So I went and was in/out in less than 1 hour. Said they only do like 4 or 5 a day... so for something so easy (assuming you should actually pass I guess) it wasn't the disaster I was expecting. Tech was nice, he's up for chatting bikes once he's finished the inspection, wasn't too chatty beforehand. Anyway, if you need to get a quick safety on the weekend, there you go. No lineups like at Ted's, plus they take credit card.
