He wasn't a uniformed soldier. No uniform = terrorist.

This is supposed to be a nation where an individual cannot be held responsible for the acts of others. What some members of his family choose to say about this or that cannot be held against him.

What is clear is that he has not been treated as a child combatant as per the Geneva Convention. He has been tortured by the Americans in contravention of the Geneva Convention. Had this been done by the Russians to some Chechnyan, the West would have been apoplectic in their denunciation of human rights abuses.

Despite all these abuses Kahdr has been a model prisoner during his time in Canadian prisons. So that guy that got fired from Hydro one for defending the trend FHRITP should not have been fired. That was his right to say that. A lot of metrosexuals on this site would disagree with that.

His right to say it wasn't violated. He just learned that there is consequences to things he says.especially on a broadcast

Its also a bit of a far stretch to make the comparison.

The no uniform = terrorist thing is also super simplistic..

Just a tiny bit of a stretch...

Resisting a criminal invasion/occupation= terrorist????

So why exactly do we honor the various resistance fighters who fought against another aggressive/criminal invader???

Remember aggressive war is a war crime... especially when legal steps are outright rejected becuase US couldnt trust the taliban...

If everyone could trust everyone we wouldnt have international courts to mediate... hold on to your knickers... INTERNATIONAL DISPUTES.

To this date no court of law has been presented with a shred of evidence directly linking osama with twin towers attacks... whole lot of speculation.. but NO INDEPENDENTLY VARIFIABLE EVIDENCE.

If we reverse roles.

American child kills Taliban invaders by throwing a grenade at FIGHTERS ATTACKING NOT ONLY HIS COUNTRY BUT HIS ACTUAL NEIGHBOURHOOD/RESIDENCE WITH HIS FAMILY/FRIENDS/ETC INSIDE. He would be given medal and have parades in his honor


Side with whats right not what has might.

Right over wrong regardless of any affiliation.
