Stock Ohlins Steering Damper Issues

I think the stock Ohlins steering damper on my 2011 ZX-6r is shot. It doesn't matter which way I turn it adjuster knob, it feels the same. As if the damper isn't even there.

Is this a common issue and something that can be easily fixed or does it need to be sent out to get it re-valved?

Thats the way they are. Get it revalved for $100.

I got mine done at riders choice. When I got it back and cranked it all the way you couldn't even move the bar lol take your damper off and see what it feels like and back to stock you will notice a difference but at the same time it's way better after the valve job
