So last night I logged in to work remotely to send a couple of emails to people in the UK so they can see them Today morning when they get in. After I finished, I breathed a sign of relief, and proceeded to boot up some porn, typed in a type of porn I wanted to watch, I was very particular about the type, it was almost fetish territory, not gonna tell you the exact search but think something along the lines off "Red head with bush getting pounded" type of search. Anyways, once the search results came up I clicked on one of the links and just as all the filth starts loading and filling my screen I realize that I forgot to log out of VPN and I was actually doing this from my work PC. I was like.........sheeeeiiit! Closed that sheit down and turned off the computer. I wonder what the IT guy monitoring our network thinks of my tastes in the nasty stuff now.

When i used to monitor that stuff...i only reported it if it was something i could not fap to. Turns out thats not much

Oh well... Depending on your employer's policies, size of company, industry, etc. perhaps nobody cares. I would not worry to much about it, your explanation is legit (one of the risks of working at home).

Meh.

As an "IT guy", we don't check web browsing history unless specifically requested (by a supervisor, etc.) Unless you set off an alert, chances are nobody will notice.

The fact that the content was allowed to load means your IT guys are doing a **** job at filtering though.

Brazzers...

Long as yer doing it from your terminal, probably nothing. If you were doing it from someone else's.....

If an IT guy did see it, he probably things "pssh lightweight"...

We finally fired a guy after he brought in a virus from a porn site that took out our server, but in fairness it was the third time with the same guy and he had been asked to keep in clean at the office.

I don't quite understand the setup but we've had trouble with our server so my PC is actually the only computer on the network with a Fixed IP and it's running the server software to resolve everyone else's IPs. For this reason I basically have absolutely ZERO filters from my work PC and I can basically browse ANYTHING. Maybe my internet usage doesn't even get logged.....not sure.

That sounds, um... extremely ramshackle?

Such iis life at a small company.

I understand the principle of working with what you have, but even if my "network" was two computers in the same room I would still setup a third to do what yours is apparently doing.

Let me put it differently then. Your "IT guy" could not have seen what you were doing that day, because he is working in the dark

in other other words...continue to look at porn without worry. Dont worry you are less likely to get a virus from a porn site than a none porn site these days.

I thought you needed actual physical contact to get a virus. Man computers have cum a long way.

I would try to shame roasted by making it public to his peers in the most funny and embarrassing way possible.

As people are coming in I would have a buncha people in hazmat suits sterilizing all the equipment and furniture. We don't know where roasted has fap'd in the office to red head bush getting punded.

when i was working my co-worker used the work laptop to surf porn at his home,he was never spoken too about it,he used to tell us it takes some sick ***** to get him there lol, dont worry about it.
