Well, they sure know how to push our buttons (the fan's buttons). Some nice, evocative, powerful images in that trailer, going back to the first 3 movies.

So how does the Millennium Falcon or any other of the spacecraft fly inside an atmosphere with gravity?

And yes, if you start picking at the hard science bandaids you will start drawing blood. Don't do that

Chewie, we're home !!!!!!!
..was Ford the only one returning?

Nope. Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2) all have a part in it. I dunno how much work the former puppeteers will be doing (Baker is 80!!! and not doing too well) but their association seems more symbolic than anything else and I don't think anyone has a problem with that.

I haven't finished a starwars movie ever

Only saving grace for this movie is JJ Abrams...all other Star Wars and Star Trek movies were tacky and bad before he got involved

Lets face it. We're all going to go see it regardless.

Even if it is total crap, and we know it is total crap before going... and we have to take an epic crap right before going, we will hold it and go....

Not many reasons for them to try to hard.

How bout you don't ruin this for the rest of us nerds ok.

I remember you making fun of me saying that I watched everyone. The truth is you're the closet nerd
Chewie hasn't aged a day

there's something wrong with you.
Not really. Don't get the appeal

Not really. Don't get the appeal

Science fiction can place humanity in situations it cannot or has not encountered, test our identity and inner nature against new and extreme conditions. How do human values and emotions change or endure in a far-flung future? How much can we change and still be human? ETC..

Imagination is a prerequisite..
