For those struggling with Phillips screw drivers in Japanese Industrial Standard screw heads I highly recommend the proper bits. Amazingly hard to source locally despite massive Japanese product proliferation. Order thru m/c shop or online. What a pleasure to use. Mega bite.

Great to have JIS screw drivers around when working on older Japanese bikes. I've lost count of how many times I've buggered up Philips heads with out them.

And if and where you can, change those JIS bolts, to Stainless Steel Allen Head bolts, and you will never have to worry about getting the things out in the future, do use some anti seize compound as well....
