Squealing noise in cold weather

I think I've posted about this before and it was inconclusive. I have this irregular, high-pitched squeal that suddenly comes in around 50-60km/h. It goes away if I slow down. It's a very sudden on/off type of squeal, it doesn't vary in intensity either. Only happens in sub-10c temps.

I know the simple solution is to stop riding in the cold, but what the hell is it?

Will post a sound clip soon.

Is your underwear too tight? Could be the boys not likin the cold...

Lube your tach and speedometer cables. My tach was squealing horribly one time and I thought I blew a crank bearing initially.

Yeah, makes total sense. Alarming noise, but the bike behaves 100% normally otherwise.

Thx guise.
