Help me plan for NFLD

recommendations for travellers insurance who are ok with travelling by motorcycle? also whats the average cost for a short week trip?

Check with your workplace benefits as some have it.

CAA and Blue Cross are both pretty good.

I did Labrador and Newfoundland last year. Definitely spend more time in Gros Morne. We stayed two nights, but if you plan on doing hiking, spend more there. ALso, we did Baie-Comeau, Quebec to Lab City in one day, then Lab City to Goose Bay, and then Goose Bay to Red Bay on day 3 (this is obvious, as they are the only cities on the way in Labrador :). It was a fast pace, but if you slow down, and if you want to do some bush camping, do it in 4 days, and spend some time putzing around. You will need to bring a gas can with you in Labrador though. I rode a F800 GS, and it was a fantastic bike for that. Lots of potholes. "only" about 600Km of the trans lab highway remains unpaved now. Oh, the first 100Km from Baie-Comeau to Labrador City is fantastic. Beautiful pavement and very twisty. Again, no need to explain as there is just one road.

My friend made a video of the trip:
