Looks like a tool shaped metal object.Put together a small toolkit from quality and never be tempted to use something akin to a visegrip.

this thing was sold years ago on those commercials, "buy one in the next 15 minutes, and we will double your order" Not the full 1/2 hour infomercials, but he short versions

I keep one in my tool chest. It's really useful for buggered up nuts and bolt heads. It will pretty much grip anything.

The one I have never works, slips on absolutely EVERYTHING

It's my second last resort tool before the hammer and chisel. Saved a lot of work a few times. The trick is to apply pressure directly on top of the wrench head and keep it perpendicular to the nut. If it twists it won't grip very well

Don't think I'd use it on a good nut though. Just get a proper sized socket.

Realistically, what can you repair on the road? How often would a modern, well maintained bike need a spark plug change? Valve work? Brakes?

I can see plugging a tire to get you home or changing a bulb but what else?

Bought one at Harbour freight a few years ago. Never used it. The head is always bigger than what the space would allow
