Cost of Riding a Motorcycle in My First Season

Just to add, young riders 16-21 should add about 1500 give or take to that total cost because insurance for us is different.

When I was 19 (license since 16th birthday, clean record) on a ninja 250 my best rate was a little bit under $3500. At the bare minimum add $1500 if you're 21, any younger and I'd say realistically add $2500-$10000+ depending on license level, age, and previous record. I am not joking about the $10000+ figure because some places were quoting me $6-7k for a 250 when I was 19, I wouldn't want to know the quotes I'd get at 16.
