Hey guys,

As some of you may know I am back here after a long break from riding. I just picked up an 80 CB650 and looking for people who have some technical experience with the bike. This is my first carb bike and although it runs and was plated by the previous owner I want to give it a good fresh start next season with a good cleaning and tune up. Any specific places I should be looking at? any must do's aside from the regular "tune up" items.

I appreciate your time and for letting me be a part of the group. looking forward to some meetups and rides this season.

Welcome to the SOHC4 bikes of the honda line. Anyways, the only thing you really need to do is the 3k tune up.

Carb synch and timing is a must for these bikes to run well. There's a site solely for these
