Parts deep within the engine may be ok (hell, maybe much of the engine minus things like valve covers). If I could get a lambo engine for a reasonable price to rebuild in my spare time, it would be a fun project. Obviously the computers will be burnt up and expensive as hell, but you could try to carb it or install an aftermarket fuel control system (depending on what's left of the injectors). It looks like used motors (10+ yo) are $30-40,000 without the computer, you might be able to get this one to run for less.

Absolutely badass, and its finally coming to North America. I was pretty excited about the ST, but the RS is another level. That's gonna be a sweet ride. Personally I'd take that over an STi any day.

I like it too. Wish it wasn't so "long looking" compared to other hatches, but regardless the specs speak for the car's obvious ability to perform.
