Very well said! People need to respect the plain and simple fact that we are all different.
I don't judge those that don't ride in winter.
At the same time, I don't agree that riding in winter has to be uncomfortable. You don't have to be "hardcore" to do it, whatever that means. If you miss riding in winter, there are plenty options to widen your riding season. Not riding in winter is as much a choice as riding in winter.
When I'm out riding in -10c, I'm often just as comfortable as I am at 20c, though with more frost inside my visor.

Happy to be here in Cairns at 26 degrees and green.
Chased out of Pearson with that freezing rain on Sunday.Backyard's a bit soggy but the KLR is in great condition thanks to a buddy and it's GREEN out there.
Time to go play in the puddles.
Any one who misses riding...give down under a thought. Bikes for rent, lovely riding areas, not so expensive round trip.
What's your definition of "not so expensive"? How much is the rental?

If you don't know people to stay with there look around at hotel/motels. This is anything but a cheap vacation.
I didn't think so. I'm finding flights for about $1500 which isn't terrible considering the location but not what I would call "not so expensive".
