Sorry, I travel the world, Americans are not loved everywhere. And Canadians are not loved everywhere, but I'd take my chances being Canadian.


It will be very interesting for Cuba, and your not getting cigars in Manhattan yet, but the Americans have been looking over the 90mile gap from Key West to Veradero and its ocean front property for peanuts, with dirt cheap labor. Look out Mexicans , your outsourcing may move a bit east.
 
Anybody that hasn't been in Cuba and is thinking of going , GO NOW. The changes may take years but the flavor will have changed as of yesterday afternoon. It will never be the same once the American get a toe hold. They have been looking over the 90 mile gap for decades at low cost ocean front property and cheap cheap labor.
Cuba used to get lots of support from Soviet union and China and since Cuba is the stand alone socialist state these days the future of the Island is making nice with Uncle Sam.
 
Are the Americans gonna acknowledge Bay of Pigs invasion, lol

You do not want do that - a small miss understanding and you are in Jail for 15 years for no reason.

I had a small incident in Cuba - Spent the day with a couple of their cops, not a fun day and made me realize how awesome it is to be in a country where for the most part your rights are respected.

on topic: what happens when all those folks pre-embargo show up with the deeds and lawful papers for their land? what then?
