When's the last time: SportBike tv commercial?

Is it just me or do sportbikes never get any commercials on tv? I wonder if there insole thing restricting them or what?

Target audience is too small for TV ads to make economic sense.
 
Usually during the spring/early summer, I remember seeing the ZX14 commercial with DMX not too long ago.

I vaguely remember seeing Suzuki/Honda commercials watching F1 (not this year though)... they were both "powersports" spots that happened to have bikes in them.

Who watches TV any more?
The target demographic for sports bikes does not watch TV. That's why the ads are all on Youtube.

There is almost no motorcycling on TV any more, no room after all those US team sports discussion shows by fat loud guys or sports Barbies.

People still watch TV shows, just not on TV, hence no commercials.

If you are seeing ads on youtube, you are doing it wrong.

I guess you haven't noticed that the "skip ad" buttons are slowly disappearing, and nothing in the Google space isn't without ads. That's how they make money.

They are all pretty bad. Usually some post-apocalyptic industrial setting with dim lighting and the often don't even show the full bike.

Then there is the great acting debut of Colin Edwards...
