If memory serves, Fischer also made a sport bike using water cooled HD engine.

There used to be one at track days every once in a while has a hyosung engine

sent from a device using a program

I remember following the story a few years ago, Rotax hung him (fischer) out to dry and he went with Hyosung as a power plant. Sort of like looking under the hood of your Porche and finding porche valve covers on a Kia engine block. There cant be many of those made, anybody know the production numbers?

No, did not serve well. Was thinking of Roehr 1250sc. Supercharged V-Rod powered sportbike.

Roehr later went on to use a Hyosung chassis for his electric bike.

The 1250/1300 was a cool concept though.

LOL, when I finally remembered the Roehr name and googled it I saw the electric bike for the first time and immediately thought "is that a Hyosung frame"? Not caring enough to research, I just went on with my day. So it's really great to get that confirmed.

Erik Buell had a lot to say about the development of the 1250 as it grew and grew in physical size and realizing it'll never fit into the newer generation Buell American Sport Bikes. The Roehr would never be cutting edge based on engine weight alone.

These days, the only company i know with a crate engine program is Kawasaki with the 650 twin.
Fischer tried what many have tried, he could not have had worse timing.
