Thoughts and prayers to the family.
This was someone's baby boy... RIP

Jordan Jull.

From thespec.com
Jordan Jull had a smile that could light up the world, says a former schoolmate mourning his death.

The 23-year-old was killed early Monday night in a downtown crash at the intersection of Bay Street South and Robinson Street.

Jessica Hughes, who attended Westdale Secondary School with Jordan, visited a tribute site at the intersection Tuesday to contribute a lit candle and remember him.

"He was such a good person," she said. "Everyone would remember his smile. His smile would light up the world."

Hughes, 22, said she hadn't seen Jordan for a couple of years but kept in touch through Facebook. She still remembers him being friends with everyone at the high school.

"He was very accepting," she said, adding that his death is devastating — and he'd celebrated a birthday just three days before the crash.

Jordan's stepfather Shawn Baxter said the young man loved motorcycles and worked as a skilled tradesman at the time of his death.

Among the tributes tied to the signpost was a bouquet of red roses with a card reading 'You may be gone but you will NEVER be forgotten.'

Police say speed was a factor in the crash.

A cab driven by a 52-year-old Hamilton man was heading east on Robinson through the intersection at Bay just around 6:17 p.m., police said, when a motorcyclist riding north on Bay lost control and laid down his bike in an attempt to avoid the cab but ended up striking its side.

He died in hospital a short time later.

Baxter said Jordan will be resting at Bay Gardens Funeral Home on Rymal Road on Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m., with a service immediately following.

This was the 13th traffic fatality in the city this year and the third fatal accident in the city since Friday.
