I have written about the South Eastern Ohio & West Virginia area before. It is half the distance to dragon.
Has to many nice roads to ride. So if looking for an area to ride for 4 or 5 days, head down and enjoy
the roads. They are just as good as the dragon area. I have done 3 small trips this year just to that area.
One of my Fav places to ride. All you need to do is look at Google maps and you will find the roads.
I normally stay in Marietta as a base to ride out of but you can stay in almost any area down there.
On my ride home I took Hwy to just north of Pittsburgh and took the 62 from Hwy 79 across to Hamburg
Buffalo. I was only 10 miles from the border. (just a diff route instead of all Hwy) The pics are
from the ride home. Started at 6am and was in the house at 5pm.
I don't usually post rides but I will give you 2 great loops to do.
If you start by 9 or 9:30 in the morning you should be able to
finish the loop by 5pm. Trust me - you will be worn out at the end
of the day.
