Caller ID blocker:

What calls are you getting? I keep getting the Indian Air Duct specials....the Call to lower your non-specific credit card interest rate special....the Indian Microsoft "you've got a problem" calls.

They have slowed down since I told them "I don't have any air ducts" "I only have Apple products" etc. Still get them every now and then though.

I have an OomaTel system I need to set up, apparently this has a call blocking service built in to it. Need to get it sorted as it's much cheaper than Bellend.

Same. Duct cleaning - to which I respond: "I live in an igloo, I don't have air ducts". They keep calling from so many numbers, I can't list them all.
Credit card rate reduction calls............"I don't owe anyone a dime. Please **** off, thank you" and I hang up.
Minor annoyances.
The majors are the online casinos.........from all over the planet.
Thank goodness elections are over for the time being. Couldn't hang up on those 'ticks' fast enough. I've unblocked them, and free'd up a bit of space with my present call blocker.

Stop giving out your number. Anybody who is not your friend don't give it to them. I haven't had a telemarketer call in years. Don't give em your real # if you return something.

Don't answer if you see the caller ID. Only answer calls of people you know

I'm impressed. Most people your age don't even know how to surf the net, yet alone post a pic on a forum. ;)

get an unpublished number, I get maybe one computer generated random dial a month. Best $10 bucks spent and I only have a land line because my mom moves in when I travel to look after my dogs and wants a phone, otherwise my mobile would be the only number. Home phones are dead issues.

Maybe your going about it the wrong way.

Make it a challenge to keep them on the line as long as possible.

Perhaps you can start making their do not call lists?

Hey, it's me Ganoosh from Microsoft. I notice you forgot to empty your recycling bin and your garbage files are infecting the internet. Get on your desktop sharing program and give me access so I may fix the problems for you! We also do HVAC here at Microsoft, so we may call you about that too, if the virus spreads to your house's electrical systems.

WTF? I tried calling you and my number's blocked.
