New Car Seatbelt Warning Beep QUESTION

What car?

Some have the ability to disable the safety chime by pressing various button combinations or key turning codes.

On my old Taurus you could disable it by turning the key on and then clipping/unclipping the seatbelt 10 times.

Edit: NVM, missed your post above. A quick google search later, doesn't look like there's any easy way to disable it on the mini.

These new cars are soooooo annoying in this regard. My older Honda goes Beep...Beep...Beep for about 20 seconds then stops. My parents new Benz's get progressively worse, its Beep...Beep...Beep for about 20 seconds, then Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep...****ing double-time and it doesn't stop.

Just put the belt on like you are supposed to; the warning goes away ...

The beep isn't bothersome for the minute or two involved in rearranging vehicles in the driveway or any such thing.
