What Are You Currently Listening To?

Hope some enjoyed the Rare Americans song and video I posted last time. It's great to see hand drawn cartoon animation video.

I have another new song to share. I heard this recently a few times now on Stingray Rock Alternative (my favourite new music source on the planet). Flora Cash - You're somebody else. This song is taking off (for the indie rock genre); the two month old lyric video on Youtube has >10M views and this is their recently released official video for the song. Great song.

Probably on The Edge 102.1 FM. So much great new music out there.

Cheers

Newest single of the Panic! At The Disco album: High Hopes. So, so, so catchy. Brendon Urie's voice is just so damn good. I'm not having much luck trying to sing this song.

All great songs @Joe Bass.

I've been hearing them all in rotation on Stingray Alternative Rock (many tv carriers use this content provider and they're on-line). Great station for those who like this music.

Nothing new from me to post up. Lots of great new music recently posted is keeping me busy anyway. But here's a great song I'm still listening to; a tip of the hat to a great alt song and band that started my 4th music renaissance a few years back. I'm sure there are some fans. Enjoy. Black Keys - Little Black Submarines.

Late to the party but just listening through Eminems new album: Kamikaze.

Damn, he really took a swing at the industry! I would say 9.5/10, he really upped his game on this one.

A moment of silence for the haters.

I knew this song. It's an EDM artist who has collaborated with Lane 8 recently. And of which I've posted links to a number of times here. Small world.

Rufus du sol - No place. The audio YT release already has 2.2 million views; this is the more recently released official video.

It's a little known fact that EDM is the most popular music in the world. Cheers :)

Another cool new song. Many of my links here have been melodic songs, and this is another  :). A new song just released by a band that many of you may remember from some time ago. A Perfect Circle - So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish. Great song and great video... with the typical themes and social commentary element that this band is known for.

Got a bunch of new vinyl this week from Canada posts delayed service. Man machine by Kraftwerk, arguably one of the more important bands in the original electronica era.

Brings back memories of living in the UK in the 80’s.

Probably haven’t heard this in a long time JC.

Thats a blast from the past. I’d forgotten all about that one. I’ve been replenishing my vinyl collection with 80s stuff. Got a fair few deals on Black Friday from Amazon. Some early Depeche Mode, Primal Scream etc.
