So when you guys with these nicer home systems listen to music do you just sit down and put on one record and listen to it? I kinda picture it like the old maxell ad's. I ask because I've always mixed records and haven't actually just listened to a whole album start to finish since I was like 10, with the exception of Bob Marley.

Yes, I do it all the time. I get a coffee, put on a record and I listen to the complete album.
The problem is, since vinyl's demise in the 90's (?), there have been very few quality "albums" that you would want to listen to in their entirety. Everything has become 1-2 good songs (hits) and the rest filler. Of course, I am talking about pop and hip hop. Although I do remember years ago when I picked up the Killers' "Hot Fuss" and enjoyed every track. That was refreshing.

I didn't click on it yet 'cause the kids are asleep, but I'm guessing that's Guru? I really hope so. Talk about smooth. I checked out your hip hop mix, thank you for that. Do you have anything with any of above mentioned old school? BDP, LL, EPMD, Public Enemy etc?
