Dropped bike, more difficult to start?

My bike (2012 ninja 250) went down last weekend. I had to let it sit for about 15-20 minutes before it started back up. Ever since then it seems like I have to hold the starter for a bit longer than normal before it fires up, even with the recent warm weather (20 degrees+). Before my fall, the bike started like a champ, even around 0-5 degrees outside. Any ideas as to what may have caused this?

Did the choke cable or swtich get damaged in any way? Are you turning the choke switch fully open whent starting then closing it after 2-3 minutes? Check the battery connections, make sure its all connected properly and tight.

Hopefully someone else on here with more knowledge can help you. I would ask BrianP on here. He seems to know alot about these bikes.
