hwy 35 to Minden, road resurfacing and Fall colours

Drove up to Minden today, from Lindsay, on Hwy 35.

Hwy 35 about 5 km north of Norland is being resurfaced with an oil based topping. Length of construction is about 5 Km.
They are going to be doing both north and south lanes. One lane is blocked off and they are using the opposite lane to alternately feed the traffic, through.

Might be a good idea to avoid this stretch, for this weekend.



Fall Colours

At Minden the trees are still green. Not much Fall colours at this time. Maybe in a couple of weeks from now.

Carnarvon to Haliburton is really nice too

Don't know where the resurfacing is but I almost always take Deep Bay Rd (mark as CR2.) Nice road and might just avoid the repaving.
