I have a used/non-working starter pulled from a Ducati Monster 696. The part I replaced it it with has the following specs:
12 Volt, CCW, 13-Teeth
Replaces:
Denso: 128000-6050
Ducati: 270.4001.1A
My understanding is that you can revive it with a new brush kit. This one I believe: http://www.stockers.com/index.php?dt=RBK-69
I don't have the inclination to do it, but if you feel like a challenge, it's yours.
