Video: Reflective Rim Tape and Night Ride Test

That would do nothing. The way reflective tape works (and street signs) they reflect direct light back to the source. You can test it yourself, walk around at night with a light source near your eyes and look at a stop sign. This works at any angle. Now get a friend to shine a light at a 45 degree angle and you'll see a HUGE difference. It's called Retroreflection.

I just installed reflective rim tape on my Ninja 300. The product is really sweet and was easy to install. I bought the rim tape from CustomTaylor33. I'll take a full pic of my bike shortly, but here are some images of the product and he even does custom decals.
