DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit police are investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a car that occurred near the intersection of 7 mile and Greenview in Detroit that has claimed the life of a 22-year-old man.
Derrick Black, driver of the car that was struck by the motorcycle says he didn't know what happened, just knew that something had hit his car.
Police say that preliminary accident investigation findings point to that the driver of the motorcycle was going too fast which is what ultimately led to the accident. (WTF? I would have thought the cager turning directly in front of the path of the motorcycle would be what led to the crash)
However, the circumstances surrounding what happened after the accident occurred are what investigators are focusing on most right now.
Witnesses say that it took a while for EMS and Police to arrive on scene and in that time the mans girlfriend along with a cousin took off with the motorcycle and his belongings. (WTF?)
Police are asking anyone with information to please come forward and call Detroit Police.ce-investigate-fatal-motorcycle-accident
