Hey everyone! My name's Cameron, and I just recently bought a 1999 GS500. I've never had a license before but I've ridden dirtbikes, minibikes, and the occasional streetbike on private property. I live in Niagara, as my username says. If I can manage to get insurance for less than I'm being quoted now, I might be up for some group rides after winter passes.

Well, I only have one quote so far, and that's from TD. They quoted me $5,734.00/year liability only, which of course is completely ridiculous. I'm still shopping around, will keep this thread updated with other quotes I get.

I'm 27 only a year or two with my m2… upgraded from a 50cc scooter to a 02 gs500 I think I'm playing 1300-1500ish with TD.

I'm 25 and I'm paying $1100 for my 05' CBR1000RR and I'm not with TD.

Paul South from Surnet Insurance just quoted me $2876 for liability only, which at this point seems like a hell of a deal to me. Will check a few more places and update then.
