NEW RULES FOR 2015 Black Cat King of the Street Rules.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: The all NEW 2015 Black Cat King of the Street Series is a class opened to Nitrous,Turbo and All Motor bikes ONLY. This class does not allow wheelie bars, slicks or slider clutches.

The Black Cat pub King of the Street is a series of 6 -7 events run at Toronto Motorsports Park, St. Thomas Raceway, Grand Bend Motorplex Park and King of the North along side the OSCA which hosts some of the fastest cars on the planet .

At each event riders are tracked by a point system that could make them the next KING OF THE STREET champion. All events will be held in a 2 day competition, qualifying on Saturday with elimination on Sunday. The class is an all-run field and will utilize a .400 pro tree.

2015 GENERAL RULES

FORMAT: The King of the Street Series is a heads-up class contested on a quarter mile and utilizing a pro .400 pro tree. The class will qualify a 8-16 bike field and place them on a pro ladder.

POINTS: This class will be a points class at all OSCA events.

FRAME MODIFICATIONS : Cut seat rails are permitted Short necking ONLY permitted for All Motor Entries.

SUBFRAMES: All aftermarket subframes are permitted.

SWINGARMS: Swingarm-style rear suspension required. Any stock, modified or aftermarket swingarms will be permitted.

BODY: Stock or aftermarket body work permitted.

GAS TANKS: Stock or any aftermarket fuel tanks permitted.

HEADLIGHTS: Headlight optional but recommended.

REAR LIGHTS any sort of rear light is required ( for track safety).

ENGINE: Any internal engine modifications are allowed. Engine swaps from different years are permitted but must bolt into stock unaltered frame. Aftermarket blocks are prohibited , dry sumps are prohibited. Aftermarket oil pans are permitted.

CLUTCHES: Slider clutches are prohibited. Lock-up clutches are permitted, clutch baskets, slave cylinders and pressure plates may be switched between different year motorcycles. Billet clutch baskets and inner hubs are permitted.

CHARGING SYSTEMS: OEM factory charging system is required. They must be functional and operational at all times during qualifying and eliminations.

COOLING SYSTEM: OEM Factory radiators is required. Radiators may be modified or shortened to allow proper tire clearance. Oil coolers and heat exchangers may be removed.

FUEL INJECTION: All entrants must have been originally equipped with fuel injection.

THROTTLE BODIES: OEM throttle bodies are required for that year of motorcycle depicted by VIN number. Throttle body modification are limited to boring to a larger size and injector bore modification to accommodate larger aftermarket injectors. Aftermarket throttle plates are permitted. Secondary throttle plates may be removed.

FUEL SYSTEMS: aftermarket fuel pumps, regulators, filters, fuel lines and fuel rails are permitted Fuel Cells prohibited.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS: OEM Engine management systems (ECU) maybe be either factory or aftermarket units.

ELECTRICAL: Air shifters, shift lights, engine kill boxes, multiple fuel injector controllers and ignition timing control boxes are permitted. Two steps auto shifters are prohibited.

EXHAUSTS: Any type of exhaust is permitted.

TIRES: Slick front tires are permitted, any DOT rear tire is permitted.

FRONT SUSPENSION: Any stock or offset trees are permitted. Forks may be internally lowered, cut , revalved and shortened. A minimum of 1inch front suspension travel is recommended. Front end lowering straps are permitted.

REAR SUSPENSION: Aftermarket shocks and linkages may be used. Aftermarket dogbones are permitted.
TURBO MOTORCYCLE RULES:

-Cut or any aftermarket gas tanks are permitted.
-Aftermarket subframes permitted.
-Short neck frames are NOT permitted.
-Fuel Cells NOT permitted.
-Oil Sups NOT permitted.
-Minimum 3inches of ground clearance is mandatory and this will be measured with rider fully suited on the bike.

WHEELBASE FOR TURBO ENTRIES:

-66 inch max for riders UNDER 210lbs.
-67 inch max for riders OVER 210lbs.
All Riders will be weighed in their shorts or underware.


NITROUS MOTOR ENTRIES:

-Cut or any aftermarket gas tanks are permitted.
-Aftermarket subframes permitted.
-Short neck frames are NOT permitted.
-Fuel Cells NOT permitted.
-Oil Sups NOT permitted.
-Minimum 3 inches of ground clearance is mandatory and this will be measured with rider fully suited on the bike.

WHEELBASE FOR NITROUS ENTRIES:

-68 inch max for riders UNDER 210lbs.
-69 inch max for riders OVER 210lbs.
All Riders will be weighed in their shorts or underware.

ALL MOTOR ENTRIES:

-Cut or any aftermarket gas tanks are permitted.
-Aftermarket subframes permitted.
-Short neck frames are permitted.
-Fuel Cells NOT permitted.
-Oil Sups NOT permitted.
-Minimum 2 inches of ground clearance is mandatory and this will be measured with rider fully suited on the bike.

WHEELBASE FOR ALL MOTOR ENTRIES:

-70 inch max for riders UNDER 210lbs.
-72 inch max for riders OVER 210lbs.
All Riders will be weighed in their shorts or underware

GENERAL SAFETY: All riders must have full leathers. All riders must have snell 2010 or higher full face helmets with shield, leather cloves and shoes that cover the ankles are mandatory. Tether kill switches are required on all entrants. Kill switches when activated must disable ignition and fuel pumps
