Fork springs clicking normal?

Hi

I noticed when doing the regular checkup on my Vulcan 900 that when I hold the brake amd bounce the front of the bike up and down there is some clicking noise, I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

So I asked my wife to do it while I was down there listening and the clicking is definitely coming from inside the forks, most likely from the springs.

Is that normal? My old bike did it too. I push on it relatively hard for this test but I'm a skinny guy so it's not /that/ much weight.

I haven't noticed any of these noises while riding but I just got the bike.

Probably normal?

Are you hearing the springs crunch ? Maybe they are touching the fork tube

I can bounce up and down on my 900's forks and I don't get any clicking sounds.

Yeah, sounds like it could be something like that. Maybe that's an excuse to take the forks apart :) Need a couple of tools though, there's a big nut and some weird washer inside that needs a special tool acording to the manual.

Damn, well I hope that either you're not pushing hard enough or maybe it's not a major issue.
