Lights for your helmet

I think its a pretty dope concept. Very tron like. I could see some people getting very "creative" with the idea and over doing it though....

Definitely want this product. My whole bike, including helmet will look like freakin' TRON!!!

After doing some research.... Might as well say screw the kit and just buy the wire and hook it all up yourself for MUCH cheaper ;)

Winter project, I will indeed have a tron bike next spring.

This is a pretty cool product! I'd buy it for sure, but don't trust myself putting it onto the helmet.

I did read the FAQ and it said you can't use it in the rain. Would be nice to have a product that allows you to use it in the rain.

And yes, this reminds of of Tron! Think the cops would be upset if you put this all over your bike, helmet and one piece suit?

Kickstarter seems to prey on the naive.

One year ago I wanted to build my own kit. I know that you can buy your own materials. In this case of Kickstarter, you are paying for the conveninece of buying the pre-made kit.

BTW, about the same time a legal ruling came from the Kitchener court saying that modifications to a helmet may make the SNELL certification invalid, therefore the rider has to pay a ticket. The case was regarding someone with a helmet mohawk attached to the helmet with suction cups. I still think it is outragous, but here it is:

[16] I note under the Modifications section that changes to a helmet should be limited to marking or trimming with paint or tape. Any other modification would effectively create a new configuration which removes the certification of the Snell Foundation from the helmet.

Just FYI, such a kit may "remove" the SNELL and DOT certification from your helmet... at least in the eyes of the court... in Ontario

does this mean I have to remove my fluo purple rubber Mohawk? Fascists.

Just get some EL wire or EL paper and DIY!

You'll get a ticket if you get caught by a bored cop. If you take it to court, you will lose.
So, do it or don't do it, just don't get caught...

Anything fun is not allowed in Ontario...
