My '04 gear shifter came off so I have no circlip (c-clip,jesus clip) to hold the assembly in place. Does anyone know where in the GTA I can find a replacement? I'd hate to have to source from the US and lose a week.
 
Give me a size, I can get you one for free.

Also, is it a CIRCLIP aka retaining ring ? do you have a Pn# from the parts fiche ?

Hey there, yes it is a retaining clip the type you need snap ring pliers to remove.

That is a Standard External Retaining Ring / Snap Ring / CirClip. Generic interweb search says it for a 12MM SHAFT. If you want to pick them up , I'll bring it home with me.

Can you measure the OD of the shaft to ensure it is 12MM?

I have 11mm, 12mm, 14mm circlips, 2 pcs each. (free ofcourse to help you out), let me know if you want to run up here and get it. Might be going into toronto in the morning.
