Driving a car on the highway today, and saw this sign.

will the bike lose control easily if I change lane? (from the lower side to the higher side)
Haven't encounter this situation before...

depends on how abrupt the boundary is. if in doubt stay in your lane until it's done.

Just don't cross over it slowly, Try to get as perpendicular to it as possible.
Slow down if possible, go to the far side of your lane away from it and cut across.
Have done it many times

That is great advice. The same techniques used at railway crossings can be used to change lanes in this situation. The key really is to be as perpendicular to the road feature as possible.

Edge traps like that are dangerous as hell. As others have said if you need to cross one, slow down and cut across at an angle (closer to perpendicular the better). If you let the bike drift too close the the vertical edge, you can't escape (you need to countersteer slightly and the edge prevents it) and tip over. Obviously it depends on the size of the edge and the size/tread pattern on your tires.

This - take advantage of the ability of the bike to use your whole lane, especially when going from low lane to high lane. Going the other way isn't much of a problem - but again you have the whole lane, so why not take advantage of it to get a good angle. To add to the fun, lots of time the lower lane will be ridged pavement, as this is situation generally happens when the pavement is being resurfaced - so just keep aware :)

And relax - remember panic can turn a scary situation into a dangerous situation.
