They are a few of us white people still in Bramladesh aka: Brampton but we are a minority....turban tops represent us provincially & federally or should i say represent their turban top friends not us white people...2 more years and I'm moving out of Bramladesh and back to Canada!

I'm an immigrant too.. but I'm afraid the damage has been done. Too many loopholes for bringing in people who just bog down the system. Part of why I like New Zealand so much.. impossible to get into, but so nice if you do.
Ethnocentrism is a real problem here, especially in Southern Ontario.
Guess you never been to Auckland.

I don't know about better or worse, but there are also ethnic enclaves even within a city as small as Auckland. It's just the way things are...Our (Toronto) Chinese/arabic/Greek/pretty much everyt other food except for lamb is much better.
One of my aunt lives out in Brampton. I go, I eat, I come back. Feels like the rest of GTA to me...people have nothing else to complain about these days I guess.

The only thing Brampton drivers understand is fear. If I had to drive in Brampton regularly I would remove the right and left fenders from my Durango and cut the exhaust off at the manifolds.

My family and I were returning from a camping trip and my wife needed a bathroom - Airport and Steeles area. The Shell station's bathroom apparently had been out of service for some time, we headed to the nearest alternate (Petro Canada). She witnessed a 'brown' man basically bathing in the public bathroom and bailed - the station attendant was kind enough to laugh at her as she left. At some point we found her a usable rest room, but we had to go to Torbram and Steeles to find it.

I've watched motorcycle blogs & it looks pretty ghetto.
Interesting. I pretty sure Brampton is the only city that people do that. I really couldn't see that happening in Toronto. This place is a ********, just like any other city, it has nice areas and crap areas. Probably more heavy on the crap though, lol.
The area mentioned is highly industrialized, so it might well have been a long haul guy.

I was in brampton yesterday. Lots of canadians left... you now the usual ones that stay on welfare, disability with oxy bonus, crack, beer drinking on the bus station bench. Better make Canada appealing to eastern europeans again... someone has to pay for everyone's welfare.

I approve of it. I think some assimilation is required as long as they aren't forcing beliefs or values upon them it's okay. I.E. force the muslims to eat pork or convert to the dominant religion. As long as those things don't happen and they can do their religious/cultural stuff at home or their cultural/religious places that's cool.
