I guess leashing your dog and having it anchored on to something is a good idea if you want them hanging out of the window by themselves... Sounds like a better alternative than having the dog jump out at 80km/h into the road possibly harming others as well..

Also, you have to drive accordingly to the dog, a turn they aren't expecting and out they go.
