Just saw on the news:

A motorcyclist is dead after a crash on the southbound lanes of Highway 400, OPP confirm.
The collision happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday near Highway 401.
Paramedic say the rider, a man believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the southbound 400 has been closed just north of the 401 for the investigation.

A male motorcyclist is dead after a collision on Highway 400, just north of the 401.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said the accident, which occurred shortly before 11 p.m., is believed to be a single-vehicle collision.
All lanes of Highway 400 southbound were closed at the 401 in both directions due to the crash and Schmidt said police expected the area to be closed until early Thursday morning.

I'm truly sorry about this young man's life and condolences to his family and friends.

I just found out this morning that this is a friend of the family's son who passed away in this accident. His poor Mother got the OPP at the door in the middle of the night which is the worst possible scenario and they are devastated. He was the youngest of 3 but can never be replaced. He and a friend were coming back from a bike show in Barrie and the friend was riding in front of him so he lost him in his sightline for a few minutes and he then heard the crash, went running up the highway but knew once he reached him that he was deceased. My thought and prayers go out to the family, he was a fairly new rider and someone who lived life to the fullest. RIP CH

i was with the rider, he was my best friend, ill never forget what i saw
dont listen to police. it wasnt a single vehicle crash, he was run over, and the person left
