I want to get some form of back protector for the up coming GTAM@GBMS Track Day.
Is it better to get some thing like the Alpinestars Bionic Tech Jacket for under my leathers or just a better back protector to slip into the existing pocket or a simple strap on back protector. This will be used on the occasional track day and trips to motorcycle challenging areas (eg. NC/SC/TN, Parry Sound area).
What do you use what do you suggest.

I though track days require full body suits. Don't they have all that stuff built in?

I'd argue it's some the best stuff on the market. There's one other company but I can't remember the name, Colin Edwards and a few other motoGP guys wear it.
